Tom Jones has revealed that fellow Welsh person, Catherine Zeta Jones needed to hear Tom Jones on the radio before she could push.

Speaking on the BBC talent contest ‘The Voice’, 71 year old Sir Tom said “People have said that to me a few times, that children have been conceived while my music has been played”

“Catherine Zeta-Jones needed me to have a baby” he went on to elaborate “I think one of my biggest compliments that I had was when Catherine Zeta-Jones was giving birth to her first child, she had to have What’s New Pussycat on the radio, so as soon as she started to have to push, she said ‘Put Tom on and I’ll push’.”

The Welsh singer from Pontypridd in Wales disclosed the information after Chris Grixti, who is a call centre worker, sang ‘What’s New Pussycat’ in front of Tom and the other judges on The Voice.

Thank goodness he explained that one, the thought of Catherine Zeta Jones holding hands with her husband Michael Douglas and Tom Jones in the birthing pool is too much for this woman to take.

Especially if he was singing.
